November was a whirlwind month after a busy Halloween and October. We didn't have too much on the calendar, but filled it with play dates and dinners with friends, as well as celebrating Veterans Day with Brad. Brad and I even got some date nights in which is always a bonus! We started having a daughter of one of my colleagues come over to babysit and she has even put the boys to bed a few times. I know, we are a bit behind with this, but we have always had family babysit before. Kelsey has been amazing and is so good with the boys and John just loves her!
Andrew had his big 9 Month well visit and he weighed 20 pounds, 6 ounces (50 percentile) and was 30.25 inches long (95 percentile). Growing so fast! At nine months, he is getting more and more vocal, starting to say "dada" a lot. We are working on "mama". :) He is still a great eater and still doesn't love a bottle. He does better though. He has tried eggs, sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, and other finger foods in addition to his jars of baby food. He is still happy and loves his big brother and any dog! He loves his day care and the dogs there as well.
As for sleep, Andrew has been hit or miss. He was doing really good for a while. He would eat around 7:15, be asleep by 7:30 or 8, then sleep until around 4 or 5 am, nurse, and then go back to bed until 8 or so. That I can handle! The end of the month though he all of a sudden decided to start waking up randomly in the night and screaming again. It is so hard not knowing what is upsetting him or if it is just a separation anxiety issue. Sigh. One day we will sleep again...he's lucky he is so darn cute!
We took the boys to Indiana for thanksgiving and had a great trip (minus Andrew not sleeping well in the pack n play). But it was so great to see everyone and the boys did awesome. John absolutely loves going to papa and grandma's house and gets so sad when we have to say good bye. But it was a great trip and great holiday.
