3 months is such a huge milestone for me! I think the first 3 months are definitely the hardest and things start to get a little bit easier after that. Andrew is changing and growing everyday!
We left the boys for the first time while we went to New York for my friend Kelly's wedding. I was so nervous about leaving him, especially since he was giving us such a hard time with the bottle. My parents stayed at our house for the weekend which was great. They all survived and we had a great time too! John kept everyone busy playing baseball all weekend and Andrew did great with his bottles for my mom. I know it was an exhausting weekend for them, and we appreciated it so much!
When we got back from New York though, Andrew decided to show us. He has begun to refuse a bottle again and this time more frequently. It is the worst at night. He will only eat if I nurse him. If Brad gives him s bottle, he will scream when he sees it. Poor Brad! His sleep has sort of regressed too. He is definitely not consistent with sleep. It seems like he will give us a 6 or 7 hour stretch about once or twice a week, but most nights he wakes up about 4-5 hours still. One day we will sleep again!
At 3 months, Andrew is a pretty happy baby. He is starting to become really interactive with his mat and loves to be outside. His tummy time is improving and he can hold his head up really well. His head is huge! I feel like he has gone through a major growth spurt the past two weeks!
Andrew was baptized on May 18th. It was a special day and he did pretty well! He fell asleep right before the baptism, so he wasn't too happy when we put the water on his forehead, so he cried for most of it. :). Oh well! He was still cute! Lisa and Greg are his godparents, so it was great to have everyone here for the weekend. We had brunch afterwards at The Hills.
It was a busy weekend because we also had our bowling fundraiser for my sister. We had over 150 bowlers and the turnout was incredible. I am blown away at how much money we raised and the generosity and love that everyone showed. It was an amazing day!!!
I have to go back to work on the 28th, so we are making the most of our last days at home. Andrew will be four months before we know it! Here are some pictures from the last few weeks.
